I like your photos very much. There is a similar geothermal experience in central New Zealand. Particularly the Craters of the Moon geothermal site, and Orakei Korako situated between Rotorua and Taupo, New Zealand. Thanks for sharing your shots. Kind regards, Denise

That reminds me a great deal of Paris Mountain in Anglesey, Wales, although the drama there is all man made – spoilage from the mining industry over the centuries. Great photos – very dramatic.
